FBR Report

• There was an FBR meeting today.
• The application period for Master's programs (except IAS) for the winter semester has been moved forward by one month
• "Speech Signal Processing" will only be unavailable for this semester, not permanently
• There will be new modules (Machine Learning, ...)
• A program evaluation with student discussions is planned. Volunteers are needed (at least 1-2 per program)
  • 09.01.2025 all programs except CiS, MCI, Bioinformatics, ITMC
  • Early February other programs
  • Dagmar will send an email with exact dates soon

Mails

• We received a mail if the mulled wine was actually vegan
  • We will verify this (TODO: Leon, the new vegan coordinator)
• Someone asked us to share an Instagram post [[1]]
  • The post criticizes the CCC's arbitration board for inadequate action against perpetrators, failing to provide victims with a safe space as expected
  • We decided not to share the post as we cannot thoroughly evaluate the matter, and it is not entirely our domain
  • We will suggest the person share the post directly in the student council

EPAG Winter semianr Recap

• Communication was not satisfying; it was unclear for us how many helpers they organised
  • Long discussion about tables blocking the doors of room G-134
• Communication with new EPAG was also not good
• Changes in room allocation affected the food offerings, but no new discussion on quantities took place
• Some cables were misplaced
• Kitchen helpers reported poor communication as well
• Attendance was lower than in previous years. The highlight was likely the pub quiz.
• Full dispensers of mulled wine and punch were discarded because Jonas refilled them completely at the end
• Jonas did not use baking paper on the contact grill
• The contact grill exceeded the planned budget
• Niklas, Tom, and other helpers did a lot of cleaning, but the kitchen still needs more work
• Tomorrow at 12, we will clean the kitchen
• We still have approx. 8 kg chees and 4 kg ham, because too many sandwiches were planned
  • Distributing in student body on a donation basis (Donation Suggestions 1kg Chees 5€, 200g Ham 2€, 750g Toast 0.5€)
