Abstract: Gina is an object oriented language concept for parallel, hierarchically structured, data driven programs. Moreover, it is a Petri net language based on dynamically modified, interpreted nets. Gina provides an easily usable concept of persistancy by storing and loading concepts of the private variables of an object. The abstraction level of the Gina concept is between that of relational and functional languages on one hand, and process oriented and procedural, object oriented languages on the other hand.
