Microprogram Control Unit Design by means of Petri Nets.

Abstract: The authors describe the approach to Microprogram Control Unit design (MCU). The design initiates from the description of MCU behaviour which is defined by a specific type of Petri net. The aim of handling the Petri net is to obtain a set of microinstructions interpreted by MCU.
