Models of Multilevel Temporal Arrangements of Events and their Dynamic Recognition.

In: Automatic Control and Computer Sciences, Vol. 24, No. 2, pages 54-59. 1990.

Abstract: The author proposes an approach to automatic synthesis of dynamic recognition algorithms, based on a stage-by-stage specification of multilevel temporal arrangements of events in the form of structural formulas, followed by their interpretation in the form of modified Petri nets. The latter are called TAE nets, and function as structures of recognition algorithms. The approach makes it possible to implement the technology of designing software by the `top-to-bottom' method, in relation to real-time monitoring systems.

Keywords: multilevel temporal arrangements; dynamic recognition algorithm; modified net; TAE net; top-to-bottom method; real-time monitoring system.
