Abstract: This paper defines the MORM model (man-machine occupational risk modeling) which is devised for modeling risk in wide-scaled industrial systems. We introduce the basic principles of the human-machine interaction model based on a dynamic approach. This approach consists of two features. First, the extended cognitive reliability and error analysis method (extended CREAM) and second a high level Petri net formalism called CO-OPN (concurrent object-oriented Petri nets) used for modelling. To illustrate the MORM model we adapted a case study of a metal wire making process.
