Student ID & semester ticket (Semesterticket)

Students enrolled at University of Hamburg will receive a semester public transport pass from the Hamburg Transport Association (HVV) upon paying their semester contribution together with their student ID. Passes ensure mobility throughout the whole semester with the following sparks:

  • validity all around the clock within the entire HVV network (Gesamtbereich)
  • lesser costs than comparable HVV ticket subscriptions for trainees and students
  • free transport of up to three children aged 6–14

Please note: Semester public transport passes are non-transferable.
