Abstract: The technique of construction of parametric models of switched telecommunication networks in the form of colored Petri nets was presented. The standard model is invariant with respect to network's topology and consists of a fixed number of elements. The components of the modeled network are workstations, servers, switches and hubs. The topology of a network is the parameter of the model.
