Abstract: This papier presents a method to model and simulate Hybrid dynamics Systems. It is then applied to a supervised gas storage unit. It is a continuous system with multiple configurations, depending on the production and consumption pressures and flows and on the storage pressure. A specific differential algebraic equations (DAE) system defines each configuration of this complex process. Well-designed Petri nets supervise the set of DAE modelling the system. The simulation gives the values of the state variables and the configuration of the system at each instant.
