Abstract: The problem of designing human decision-making organizations is formulated as an organizational form problem. Petri nets are used to represent the organizational form. An algorithmic procedure, suitable for computer-aided design, is presented and the specific algorithms that it includes are developed. The approach reduces the dimensionality of the problem to a tractable level.
