Abstract: In the field of manufacturing systems, a distributed workshop can facilitate the dynamic reconfiguration of flexible production lines. Different modeling techniques exist to describe discrete events and numerous researchers propose advanced methods and tools to analyze or to build the production line models. In this paper, we propose a method to transform a Petri net based centralized model of control and supervision into a modular one. A protocol of communication is propose to maintain the coherence between distributed data and decisions.
