Abstract: This paper concentrates on event-related control. In this case, process and related process control can be described by states and transitions, which can be represented by a Petri net. Features common to both process and related process control systems have been identified. They define a special type of Petri net using a few primitives that are assembled to form a net for which structural and dynamic invariants apply.
