Abstract: Modified, timed Petri nets (M-Nets) are used to model and to analyse the dynamical behaviour of complex concurrent systems. A brief introduction to the M-Net developoment system DIOGENES is given. As an example, special features for modelling interruptible processes are demonstrated.
