Modeling the Negotiation Object in Social Systems
Alexander Osherenko

Socionics is a recently established research area, bringing together computer and social science. Both disciplines meet at the investigation of multi-agent systems.
In this article we discuss the role of social norms in multi-agent systems wrt. the micro-macro link: The micro-macro link addresses the emergent aggregation of micro processes - like group interactions - into macro ones - like the establishment of dominance.
This discussion leads into a model addressing the dynamics of social norms. This model acts as the core design for the social layer in our agent system architecture Mulan.
As a speciality, we use Petri nets to describe our model and also to implement the Mulan architecture.
